Advocacy Day is Tuesday February 4th, 2025 in Albany, NY
NYSBHA’s annual advocacy event takes place every February right in the heart of the Capital Region: the concourse in Albany, steps away from the state’s legislators. Groups of staff, parents and children from school-based health centers come from all across the state to advocate of behalf of sbhcs. The morning gathering includes student speak-outs, legislators addressing the group and light student activities. Following that, each group departs to meet with individual legislative representatives. It is a day filled with energy, advocacy and learning.
